Size 12 is a normal size. Big is size 16 plus.
I think any size from 2 to 14 is good.

Instead of focusing on the size of your clothes, you should focus on the FIT of your clothes. I know it's hard to do, but when you're shopping, you should try to ignore the number and just keep trying on different sizes until you like the way you look in the outfit. Also, sizes vary so much from store to store, so don't worry about it. I have a friend who does this and can wear five different sizes of clothes. She just laughs it off and says how silly the manufacturers are that they can't all get together and decide on uniform size charts.
