Like in Dante's Inferno- hell for Demons is that they can see into the future till there is no longer a future and they go blind- but they can't see the present or the past.

What if we're like this. We start our lives at death and see our entire lives, but as we move through time, we get younger until we see nothing at all. So really, I didn't remember yester day, I just simply forgot tomorrow.

On a purely physical basis, it would make no sense for us to age in reverse. It is fairly obvious that conception and birth are the beginning of the lifecycle, and that death and decomposition are the end. It should be patently obvious that the forces of the universe only allow the process of physical decomposition to work in one direction; for it to work in reverse would violate fundamental laws of physics.

this would all depend on our own perception of what is forward of backward, and human sentiments almost always would point to forward, though you do point to a very uncommon conundrum that has a very common answer of mankind's blissful ignorance.
