I DONT. like all he says are jokes about race. i am not offended by them. its just annoying about how all his jokes are about race. Like if he was a real comedian he would be able to make jokes about other things. i hear that he steals jokes from other comedians. Do you think that hes original and funny?

No. He's just as ignorant as a racist white comedian would be. Only because he's mexican and the jokes are on the whites do people actually not consider him a "racist", but he really is. (Watch when it comes to blacks he'll do a complete 180 just to be on the "bandwagon" with all the others) He's just another idiot in my opinion, and sadly a lot of people are just like him.

Carlos Mencia continually repeats himself. i like Dave Chappell because he would not continually talk race like Mencia. i'm getting truly ill of comedians stereotyping each race lower than the solar because they are no longer smart and because race is a normal objective.

He is funny to an extent and the joke stealing is also true. He may not be completely original but i think his stand up is funny (mind of mencia sucks)

Everyone in this house loves to watch Carlos. He is hilarious, and tells it like it is. Although, he is mostly about race, there are political skits, skits on sex, prostitution, drugs, naughty kids etc. As for stealing from other comedians, I really don't see that, I have seen none of his skits or heard any of his jokes performed by other comedians. I laugh harder at Carlos than any others. Yes he can be brutal sometimes, but it is a brutal world and he usually hits the nail on the head.

Carlos Mencia is unfunny and unclever. Comedy Central hired him to replace Dave Chapelle, their other "top minority" comedian.

Chapelle did racial humor but he also did other types of comedy as well. The mainstay of Chapelle's work was focused on that clasic comedy topic: male-female relationships.

The funniest bit Chapelle ever did was on "if the internet was a real place, it would be so sleazy you'd never want to go there" and that sketch had nothing to do with race.

Mencia, on the other hand, only does racial material.

And, besides the fact that almost all of his material focuses on making his own race (Mexicans) look bad, he also commits that one comedic cardinal sin - HE'S UNFUNNY!!!

The only Carlos Mencia routine I ever saw that was actually funny was a sketch where he went to a real live Rennaisance fair and busted on the people in the funny old costumes.

Other than that, Mencia sucks!!!!

i am a German American third generation and i have a friend who is a third generation Mexican American.

i love carlos mencia jokes and i don't care where he gets them as all the comedians steal jokes...period..funny is funny and he makes fun of everyone not just hispanics .
comedy is for the people to make their lives a little more bearable....if you do not like him ...then just turn the channel..but some people like his stuff and we want him to have a good time...sorry ..thats just the way of freedom of speech...

I agree he talks about race way too much, it's annoying and lame. Chris Rock is the only comedian in my opinion that can get away with race jokes, other then that they all pretty much suck.

I don't think he's funny either. He's always saying beaner or w*tback. Which I find really offensive being a Hispanic woman. I just think he should do other jokes instead of constantly doing jokes about race all the time. It really gets annoying.

I think he's funny sometimes, but you're right that he only makes jokes about race and stereotypes.
