My mom was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer last april. She's gone through chemo and radiation but now is on all sorts of drugs. One drug, "Chantix" is to help her quit smoking and the others are to keep the cancer from coming back.
She's taking Armidex to keep the cancer from coming back and Clonidine to help with the side effects from the Armidex. The drug label says that if she misses more than two doses it can lead to heart attack or stroke!!!
She says she'd rather smoke marijuana like in the old days because all this stuff is so scary.
I appreciate any advice and information. Thanks!!!

Hi honey, well you might want to check out this website. This might be scarier still, however, my girlfriend was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago, never underwent any chemotherapy or radiation treatments, but she is cancer free today and healthy as a horse! She healed her own body by doing a macrobiotic diet in conjunction with lots of rest and huge life altering changes.

I think smoking marijuana at this age is the only remedy for her to survive for few more months/years.
Marijuana is a herbal plant which is above all the drugs and also been used as a raw material in so many medicine!!

Although all these drugs seem really scary, they're really the best thing for your mom. Make sure she stays on the drugs because its not worth the risk of the cancer coming back just to avoid a few possible side effects.

Its sad but in the past 50 years there really hasn't been very substantial progress in the treatment of cancer. In the 1950s the remedies were burn 'em, poison 'em, cut 'em. And that's what happens today, just with different drugs, radiation methods and surgical procedures.
One alternative I wold recommend is Cancer Treatment Centers of America. They use all of the "regular" cancer treatments and some very intelligent alternative methods in addition.
