Yes they can. Homer made some decent trades and John Stevens has players that he can work with.

It's not a surprise to me that they aren't in contention for the Cup, but I am shocked at how poorly they have done this year.

Ah, maybe next year they will be better and I can turn my avatar back to the way it should be.

"Let's Go Flyers!"

Lowest points by one team EVER was 21 points (8 wins, 67 losses, 5 ties) by the 1974-75 Washington Capitals. Their highest scorer was Tom Williams with 22 goals and 36 assists for 58 points along with 12 penalty minutes. Their one goalie, Michel Belhumeur, went 0-24-3, while they had Ron Low go 8-36-2 with a shutout, and John Adams go 0-7-0. Now, as for the Flyers, it depends on who they play the rest of the way. Let's take a look-see, shall we:

Phoenix (Away)- Yes.
Dallas (Away)- No.
Atlanta (Home)- No. They can't beat anyone at home, so I don't expect them to start now.
Ottawa (Away)- Hopefully, but probably not, so No.
Florida (Home)- No. Even without Roberts, this team is better than Philly right now.
Rangers (Away)- Possibly, but probably not if the Rangers play desperate hockey, which they must in order to make the playoffs, so No.
Islanders (Home)- No.
Hurricanes (Home)- I'll give this one to them, Yes.
Devils (Away)- No.
Rangers (Home)- Depends on how the earlier game goes. If they got the Win in New York, then Yes, but if they didn't, then No, so probably No.
Toronto (Away)- No.
Devils (Home)- No.
Islanders (Home)- No.
Sabres (Home)- Definitely not, no matter who Buffalo puts out on the ice, they always have a chance to win games, so No.

Ok let's tally em up: I've got them winning two games, and losing the rest, so 2-12 to finish the year for Philly, making it their lowest point total ever!

i'm uncertain what their superb victory is this season and in case you asked the gamers they in all probability does not recognize or care the two with the season they have had. To me the best element that gas surpassed off to them is getting Marty Biron to solidify their goaltending, it purely fee them a 2nd around p.c.. and that they have been given a popular rounder for Forsberg from Nashville. The defensman they have been given interior the Forsberg commerce is meant to be between the precise if not the precise shielding prospect interior the minors, he had had some harm problems , yet nevertheless it particularly is a victory additionally. i'm uncertain how Upshall will paintings out he's rapid yet dies not seem to end so nicely. Braydon Colburn for Zhitnik became right into a super commerce additionally. they're construction the appropriate way. changing Bobby Clarke became into additionally a super flow getting new blood in at GM is extensive and Holmgren seems to appreciate the recent NHL and has a plan. additionally they'll have the extensive kind one p.c.. interior the draft that's gigantic even nonetheless there is recognize Crosby or Ovechekin this years draft there are a pair of precise centers one that is Canadian and one that is eu to come to a decision from. they'd actually have a super kind of room below the earnings cap to spend. they are in a position to turn this around rapid.

Yes and it was the Caps in in 74-75. 8-67-5 for 21 points. Makes us Flyer fans feel good. Plus who won the cup that year???? Oh yeah, The Flyers.

The guy below probably wouldn't have had them beating Jersey, Boston twice and getting a point from Pittsburgh in the last 5 either.

Everyone hates to say this out loud but, do you really want them to win 6 more games? This late in the season and with no hope of redemption, hold on to that #1 draft pick. LA and PHO are trying to stink their way to your pick. Fight for it! This is supposed to be a good draft year.

Yes, I think the Flyers are showing life and have looked a lot better. They could win 6 more. If they do I will be disappointed.

I'm a Flyers fan and I hope they win 6 games but they are not doing so good, so it's hard to say.

i believe so..they have young guys on the team..with Gagne, Mike Richards, Carter, Upshall, Biron, Pitkanen and soon coming back next week Knuble they should be able to win six games. they have nothing to lose so i think they have potential to win six more games. its good they got rid of Forsberg because he is about done. they should make some nices moves in the offseason.
