.... which make/model was your all time favorite and why?

I have owned a VW SuperBeetle, a Ford Maverick, an MG Midget, a Hyundai Excel, a Honda Accord and a Chevy Blazer.
My favorite car was the MG Midget. At the time I had that, I lived in southern Calif., had a nice tan and blonde hair, and cruised the beaches watching the surfers changing out of their wetsuits !!:)

My 2004 Caddy is the nicest car I have ever had. The 2000 Lumina was the best and most dependable, and the title worst ever unreliable POS is a tie between a '97 Jag and a '98 Town Car. Most fun is my '37 Pontiac, but it is not very original any more.

1977 Leyland Mini. A real masochist's car. Very heavy steering and brakes, electrical problems (they don't call Lucas Electrics the "Prince of Darkness" for nothing - the headlights only worked half of the time!), very noisy, leaked oil, blew smoke out the tailpipe...but also very fast. Handled like a go-kart, and used about the same amount of gas. Very small - 4' high, 4' wide, and 10' long. 75 hp, but only weighed 1100 lb. A real challenge to drive fast, but very rewarding.

1964 Corvair Monza
1976 Chevy Vega
1993 Toyota Corolla
1995 Dodge Dakota

The Vega (which I still own) will always be my favorite...there's something about a 2200lb car with a 380hp V8 and a 4 speed that just makes me giddy.

My '71 Dodge Dart Swinger. I have one in mint condition with 34K miles.

It brings me back to my youth: It was my first car. Good memories, relatively carefree life.
