Chemistry at first sight is undeniable. You can feel a "connection" with someone that is amazingly strong. Sometimes you have this connection with someone who is a match and sometimes you don't. Those who say it happened to them just got lucky. The chemistry they felt happened with someone with whom they shared the same important interests.
It is that commonality that will last after the physical begins to wane. Consider the man who goes drinking with his "buddies" all the time rather than being at home. Is it because he's a selfish creep (no, I don't do this - it's just an example...)? Or is it because he finds that his friends share the same interests with him that he feels are important - and his wife does not. His original "love" was merely chemistry and wishful thinking.
So, find out what's important to you. Find a person who is just as intently interested in those same things. Naturally, they should be a kind person as well. It is there that you'll find a successful relationship.
I cannot speak for the women. I've seen women dreadfully in love with someone with whom there seems to be no commonality. Guys, however, like to pursue and discover and succeed at things. And we love to talk incessantly about it. ;-) If you truly share the same passions, he will feel that you're a "match made in heaven!" (or wherever)

It is lust / attraction / interest / at first sight , that may evolve into love if the character is right . . .
BUT No One is psychic enough to know the other persons character and actually Love at first sight.
It's a phrase used by people who have major chemistry at first sight . . . so they can go hook up immediately.
Most "love at first sight" ends in break up
Because It AIN'T ! so be real , it is Lust at 1st sight !

Fiction. i have had men whom i have seen and felt connected to or attracted to. After i got to know them, the true colors came oozing out. Usually the true colors where kind of greenish brown.....and smelled nasty too.
There is no doubt in my mind that you can be attracted to someone at first meeting. It is dangerous though. It makes you not want to take the time to really get to know them. There are some beautiful people who are really ugly on the inside.

i think of that's achieveable to sense a connection before each thing sight, or to adventure a feeling of deep bonding with somebody you have purely met. that form of feeling shows the skill for romance to happen. It does no longer propose that's love stunning then. the 1st time I met my husband to be I felt something somewhat good, the sense that he grew to become into going to be a considered necessary individual in my existence. It certainly wasn't lust. i grew to become into 14, he grew to become into sixteen. We dated for seven years and have been married for 15 years, and had 2 infants mutually.

It's possible. But in the 80's they said it's because people are falling in love with love and I was totally confused by what it meant. So I think that didn't make any sense. If that's not tue, then how come we had infatuation and that's my take on that. Good enough, yes?
