I really enjoy my HP pavillion dv6000 notebook. It has a nice wide screen, a media center that can send stuff wirelessly to an xbox360, tools for creating DVDs, an awesome little remote control, and a fast DVD reader/writer. Plus you can upgrade to Vista for free
