I really enjoy my HP pavillion dv6000 notebook. It has a nice wide screen, a media center that can send stuff wirelessly to an xbox360, tools for creating DVDs, an awesome little remote control, and a fast DVD reader/writer. Plus you can upgrade to Vista for free

Depends.....do you need a lot or a little bit of storage? Do you just do web browsing and email and such, or more advanced things? How big do you want it to be?
