The only reason why would be either you arent pregnant or there isnt enough hcg in the urine to detect< which does happen to some women< and was she on depo by any chance before you both planned on having a baby? if so that could have a big effect on it!>>goodluck and best wishes~~

Hello! Well ill say right off that i really hope everything goes the way yall want it too, but from my expierence i had the same situation. I handnt had my period for over a month and all my tests were coming back negative, and i took every one you can buy. I went to the doctor and the doctor had asked me if i was stressed because that can really make your cycles irregular, or depression. Well i got meds for all that and still no period and finally i went back he did a pelvic sonogram and i was told i had a cyst. There are many different kinds and many different reasons for them, the one that i have is called polycystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS. I had no signs of this cyst until 2 months ago and now i have no periods. What this cyst does is it keeps you from ovulating and even takes away your period. Im praying that this isnt the case with her but its always good to go get checked out. Also some women dont give off enough horomones to make a test positive but surely with her being this late that is not the case. She really needs to go get checked out from the doctore a sonogram will tell you just about anything, if there is a pregnancy not being detected by test, he will be able to tell on the sono, and also anything else that might be wrong. I wish yall the best of luck!! I hope this was helpfull!

I have been in a situation where I was pregnant and two tests said negative. So I thought I wasn't, but I was really sick so I went to the doctor a month later and apparently there was a baby there!!! It was something to do with hormone levels. Take her to the doctor and get an ultrasound done.

Most everyone has said but I'll say it again, have her get a blood test. The same thing happened to me with my first baby I took three at home and then the doctor did one, nothing.I demanded a blood test, low and behold I'm pregnant. That was 11 years ago. It happened again 3 weeks ago and I'm due in October. Good Luck and I hope congratulations!

I would go to the doctor. Missing periods can also be a result of stress. Maybe the stress of trying to conceive is causing late periods.

Maybe early menopause, eating disorder or she could be exercising a lot. Those things will affect your period.

I have abnormal periods, and what I now is that its hard to get pregnant if you have abnormal period cause you are not ovulating each month... and go to the dr.

Maybe she's not pregnant. Stress can put off a womans cycle.
