Do you think a 'comedian' has the power to make people do something from sense of humour, or looking up to them as a leader?

I do believe this is possible. Laughter is an emotion that is most know for not being controlled. Sometimes, although we don't wish to, we blurt out a laugh as a reaction to something we find humorous. In fact, sometimes we laugh at something that we otherwise would not laugh at, but due to the laughing of of those around us we are otherwise pressured into laughing. Due to the pressure of the easily entertained people around us, i believe that humor could rule us all. Unless we stand up for what isn't funny, that will probably happen after we stop burning a hole in the ozone with aerosol and creating man made mountains out of trash in Florida, Laughter could someday Lead us all. Then again, Would that be such a bad thing?
