for all of these ques. u have to take common denominator and then solve for x
a) (3x+x)/6=7
4x=42
x=21/2=10.5
b)
(6x+4x-3x)/12=12
7x=144
x=144/7

c)
(5x+18x)/45=3
23x=135
x=135/23

d)
here i am not sure is x is in the denominator or not if yes then this is sol.
5/(2x)=8-1/6=(48-1)/6
5/2*6/47=x
x=15/47

a) x/2 + x/6 = 7 get LCD
3x/6+x/6=7combine like terms
4x/6=7 simplify
2x/3=7 multiply both sides by 3
2x=21 divide both sides by 2
x=21/2=10 1/2=10.5

b) x/2 + x/3 - x/4 = 12 get LCD
6x/12+4x/12-3x/12=12 combine like terms
7x/12=12 multiply both sides by 12
7x=144 divide both sides by 7
x=20 4/7=20.571

c) x/9 + 2x/5 = 3 find LCD
5x/45+18x/45=3 combine like terms
23x/45=3 multiply both sides by 45
23x=135 divide both sides by 23
x=5 20/23=5.870

d) 5/2x + 1/6 = 8 multiply both sides by 2x
5+2x/6=2x*8
5+x/3=16x subtract x/3 from each side
5=16x-x/3 get LCD
5=48x/3-x/3=47x/3 multiply both sides by 3
15=47x divide both sides by 47
x=15/47=0.319

a) multiply x/2 by 6/6 and x/6 by 2/2:
6x/12 + 2x/12 = 7
(6x +2x)/12 = 7
8x/12 = 7
8x = 84
x = 10.5

b) 6x/12 + 4x/12 - 3x/12 = 12
7x/12 = 12
7x = 144
x = 20.57

c) 5x/45 + 18x/45 = 3
23x/25 = 3
23x = 75
x = 3.26

d) 18/6x + x/6x = 8
(18 + x)/6x = 8
18 + x = 48x
18 = 47x
x = 0.3829
