The doctor I haven't been to the dentist in years and I don't ever plan on returning there.

Your question is kind of vague! Sometimes I prefer one over the other; it depends on what they're doing. If the doctor ran some tests to find out if I have cancer or something, I'd prefer the dentist; but, if the dentist were pulling out my teeth instead of a routine cleaning like I usually get, I'd rather the doc!

I prefer the dentist. He says I have great teeth. The doctor tells me I'm too fat.

I would say the dentist, if I ever got to actually SEE the dentist. Aside from putting in a new filling once, all other visits for cleanings are handled by his staff of harpy, heavy-handed dental technicians who scrape my teeth until my gums bleed. Yeah, that's a good time!

Dentist's.. they scare me, but not nearly as much as going to the doctor's! I get so nervous!!!

personally, I like the Dr. better. I loathe going to the dentist...having someone in my personal space, so close to me, cleaning my teeth is nerve grating for me. Not to mention PAINFUL as all get out!!! When I visit the doc he is across the room asking me how I feel or the problem is. I rarely feel uncomfortable at the drs office.

well i would prefer a dentist to give me a root canal....but i certainly wouldn't want a dentist doing my "yearly exam."
