Why did the democrats cut and run from the Fox news network? Isn't there supposed to be the fair and balanced free exchange of idea? Or have they decided to redeploy to a more liberal network?

Boy can you guys spin! Not one of your answers so far matches what the Democratic party claims is their reason for running away.

I will let you all off the hook before you embarrass yourselves any further. The correct answer is this: The democratic candidates backed out of the debate on Fox because the left wing extremists such as moveon and the others such groups told them to. The socialists are consolidating their power over the Democratic party, comrades. You better stick to the official talking points. There can be no room for indepenent thought. It is far too dangerous to the movement.

Now remember what the thought police said,"The reason for backing out on the Fox debates is Roger Ailes made a joke about Obama's name" . This is the only approved answer to the question, comrades. Now, repeat it over and over until everyone thinks it is true.

Barak only has 18 months experience in office. I suspect that is why his skin is so thin. First thing I said when he decided to "explore" a presidential bid was "he is going to get scarred the F* up out there."

And what is the first thing he does when someone takes a jab at him (which personally, I thought it was more at Bush than him)???? He gets offended, takes his toys and goes to CNN (aka home).

Bush 41 and 43, Cheney, Regan, Quayle and even Clinton were continuously harassed and jabbed at by all news outlets, but they never backed down. They continued to carry out their agenda and stood on their platform like leaders should.

Wonder what he will do when they are burning his likeness on the streets of some obscure middle east city, have signs that call him the devil or the Great Satan, or he receives death threats by some of the most dangerous people on the face of the earth?

No Where To Run When You Are The Leader Of The Free World, Senator...so either toughen up that skin or tuck tail and head home.

Here's the answer I gave to another questioner regarding Democrats fearing Fox News. Unfortunately, he wasn't clever enough to realize I was joking.

Just because we're reluctant to face Fox News does NOT mean we are cowards. There are very understandable reasons why we avoid Fox.

First, is Bill O'Reilly. He has this feature called "The Final Word" in which he lets the guest have the last half minute to say whatever he wants. You know why O'Reilly does this? He's shrewd. He's trying to trick us. He figures we'll always say something stupid and end up looking like a bunch of dunces on national tv.

It's much easier just to respond to what O'Reilly says. A lot of times we can goad him into losing his temper and we come out spelling like a rose. However, that sly devil is increasingly able to restrain himself, another rotten Conservative trick.

Normally, we can just rely on the old standard responses: "Bush lied", "It's Bush's fault", "Bush did this, and now won't admit it", etc. But if we actually have to express our own ideas, that's much harder. Unlike you fascist thugs who want to impose your will on everyone else, we Liberals are all about the majority opinion, so we're not always sure what our positions are in between opinion polls.

So stop slandering us Liberals. We're not cowards and you know it. It's just that Conservatives seem to do better on tv. They just seem smarter than us because you're glib and tricky, but it's all a lie! I mean, how could someone like Michael Dukakis ever match up against a seasoned pro like your Conservative poster boy, Reagan? But that does not mean you guys are even fit to shine our shoes. Liberals are smarter and we care about the planet, and we want everything to be fair and equal.

But we're not going to debate you sneaky people on tv. We're much better at keeping to a script. By the way, let me close by saying, "Bush lied, people died!"

Hah! That's one argument you can't win, because I have The Final Word. I win.

FOX is not News, it is, according to it's own Lawyers, entertainmnt programming with no duty to the truth. Sort of like wrestling is to sports. So it would be just as truthful to have Bush mud wrestle Ted kennedy.

Are you truly trying to claim that no Democrat has ever appeared on Fox News?

Or are you just making broad overgeneralizations and attacking entire groups because of the actions of one or two individuals?
