pull back the dust boot and spray wd40 in there. there's a rubber seal in there that some times needs some tlc.

do you have the parking brake released or engaged? If the parking brake is not released you'll have a mechanical engagement of the caliper that you won't be able to overcome by turning the piston in.

you should be able to turn the piston in using a gasket scraper or a big screwdriver if you don't have the tool. you can buy a universal brake piston tool at most part stores for about $8.00. NEVER try to force a rear piston in using a C Clamp as that's a sure way of trashing the caliper.

there is a tool if you didnt already get that far auto rents it out only use a c-clamp for the front calipers if the piston is frozen check the rest of the pads and rotors the rest should b worn down more so than the troubling one

It's seized and needs replacement, very common on the rear as they don't work as hard as the front. Because they don't generate as much heat the pistons rust in the outward position, can't be pushed back in when new pads have to be fitted in there.

Try a "C" clamp.
