Yes it is bad, because it screws your real self identity. You will never be able to establish a healthy relationship (and all those who say they are in one are lying! Sooner or later they will break up!), and you will be depressed, and all that jazz... Unfortunately, the world has no idea how to deal with homosexuality, so they just say that's it's "normal". I'm not here to judge, or whatever, because I am myself dealing with homosexuality, but just like you, I also questioned, and here is what I descovered; All I needed, was a real guy who could teach me how to be a man! One book I recommend for you to read is 'Wild at Heart'! It's an amazing book! It's about the joy and freedom of what being man is all about! Also, from my own experiences, I have only hurt, mental AND PHYSICAL damage from sleeping with other men in the past. I have no desire for that any longer! Right now I'm in the process of finding the man within! Oh and by the way, most people who told you on here that it is "okay" are women and womanized men! Women have no idea what they're doing when they say that to a man! They are ruining your identity of manhood, and you should never take advice like that from another gay man or a woman's mouth. Something I also found out is that gay men tend to listen to women more than to men, because women sound more comfortable! Everybody can say "it's okay, you poor thing", but not everyone can actually look into the eyes of truth and be manly enough to point it out!

No, it isn't "bad" in and of itself. In fact, it can be quite good. The only time I'd consider it "bad" would be if you were in a relationship with someone else & by having sex with the other man you'd be cheating, or if some form of rape was involved. Consensual sex between two adults is not something which is inherently "bad".

I was reading your reply to one of the other questions and I see you’re bisexual. I’m gay and there’s nothing wrong with sex with another guy. If you happen to be married or in a relationship, then yes a lot of people would see that as being wrong (outside your relationship).
I’ve heard some people say that bisexuals have the best of both world, but I don’t see it like that. There are a lot of really nice bisexuals on this site, but they suffer abuse (from both straight and gay worlds). The only problem I have is when some bisexuals claim to be gay (married 10 year with 5 kids, but they’re gay). I do think it’s sad that bisexuals don’t get the same support, you only have to look at the questions on here to see that. I’ve seen questions like “are you gay” and if the person says “bisexual” they get the thumbs down.
I know I’m reading a lot between the lines here, so I’m sorry if I’m getting things wrong. To me it sounds like you’re probably in a relationship (with a woman) and you’re feeling guilty that you’ve had experiences with another guy. I know there’s the “sexual” side of things in life, but you also need supportive friends. People who you can talk to and know they’re not going to judge you. You’re not alone and others have walked down the same road. As I say I’m gay, but if you ever need anyone to talk to you can click on my link and send me an e-mail. Best of luck.
