I am getting a sweatshirt from my b-ball team and they needed to know my size. I was looking at one of my sweatshirts and it was a medium but someone said that that was a men's sweatshirt and a women's medium would be too small. Are there men's sweatshirt sizes and women's sweatshirt sizes? Please help!

Yes, just like any clothes, there are different sizes for different genders. If it is for a mens team though, they should have mens sizes.

Men, in general, have longer torsos and broader shoulders than women. A women's meduim would be shorter in length, and narrower across the shoulders than a men's. They should have brought the exact styles they were going to issue for you to try.

guys are looser and a bit bigger and girls are usually tighter.. also ive noticed that girls sweatershirts or hoodies are usually zip up and not pullover..
