Can somebody help me? What is a good argument for condeming Karl Marx and showing how Adam Smith's theories can better our society today?

Karl Marx decided what he wanted the world to be like and told us how he thought we could get there.
Adam Smith tried to describe how the world worked and how one could make decisions that optimized certain metrics.
In the last century one super power tried to build upon Karl Marx's theories and another built upon Adam Smith's ideas. The economy based on Adam Smith's teaching has more consistently provided more goods and services for more people.

People have the God give right to fail. This is violated by Marx but embraced by Smith
