My door lock broke and only one little piece is broken. It is like a metal washer. Is there any place i can get replacements or do I have to buy a whole new lock?

If it is an expensive lock take it out and bring it to a real locksmith for repair . If it is just a cheapy and your time has any value then take it out, buy a new one in a discount store for under ten bucks, and replace the broken one.

Unless you are a multi millionare and have custom designed locks, your lock is not expensive (my knowledge is in personal residences). Go buy a new one at Wal-Mart and install it yourself. It is very simple: The new one goes back the same way (in reverse proceedure), you took the old one out. Buy a phillips head screwdriver if you have to (if you do not have one, you'll need to).
