Most scientists don't even bother trying to argue with creationists... it simply gives them the media attention they don't even deserve. i'll pick the fossile record and experiements done using the scientific method anyday over a bible quote...

Scientists argue with religious people because they take the Bible literally. It's just a lot of metaphors put together to fulfill man's need of knowing its origin. It's not a physics or biology book.

Maybe religious people ARE trying to preach more and defy science.

Who knows ?

Believe it or not but there is a large amount of evidence for an intelligent designer. You can leave religion out of it but much evidence points to an intelligent designer. One question that is extremely important which science has yet to prove is how can you get life from no life? Science has yet to be able to create a unique life form from no life. And if this cannot be done, someone must have created it. There is much more evidence. You just have to stop blindly believing what science tells you and look for yourself at the truth.
