There are many ways to answer your question but here's MY story.
I married my first husband where we were both quite young. I was 19 and he was 21. We fought like cats and dogs about the silliest things.......but neither of us was willing to put the work into it that it deserved and we split up within 2 years.
Now we are 40 and 42. We recently reunited after 18 years apart. Things are WONDERFUL. We both have the maturity now to work things through and not fight. It's sad that we spent 18 years married to other people, still loving and missing each other. Being married is both........it depends on so many things. Make sure you work out all your problems before hand and figure out of there are problems you CAN'T work through. Realize that there WILL be bumps in the road. A good marriage takes work..........but it can be done!

Yes I am. We've been married for 12 yrs and together as man & wife for 21. We got married after I came to the truth, & found out the truth about marriage. Congratulations!!!! Every1 said it was the longest engagement they had ever heard of, 9 yrs. I was married previously, for 5 yrs, and I always said the best thing to come out of the marriage was the divorce. And the best thing to come out of the relationship was my children. My husband, & I raised 3 children & have 2 grands now. Jehovah has blessed me in His truth, so I am a better wife now then ever in my life. I've been married most of my life; since 1981. May Jehovah God guide & keep the 2 of you always in His hand.

Marriage is a rollercoaster. Some days are good, some days are bad. This rollercoaster can be a fun one or yet the worst you've ever riden. However, the type of rollercoaster you ride, depends on how close of a relationship you have with your loved one.

This all depends on how you view marriage... I think that being married should be good BUT some people do not want their marriages so it is bad for them. Marriage is what you make of it and you can make it good or bad... I feel that people make marriage bad and divorce and unfaithfulness cheating and abuse in a marriage makes it REALLY bad!
My marriage to my husband is really good and happy so our marriage is REALLY good and i love it and would not have it any other way.

I love being married......granted i have only been married 6 months, but i dont have a "regular" marriage. My husband is a marine. I have known him for most of my life and love him dearly. He is hardly home because of his job, but his job is a reason why i love him. We have our ups and downs like everyone else, but marriage is what you make it. Everyones marriage is different. Its up to you and your other to make your marriage what you want.
