So I normally get my period on or near the exact date of each month. My period is now a few days late since February is a shorter than normal month. The last two days I've been seeing a very small tiny amount of red blood. It wasn't pink or brownish either. The thing is I normally have more blood on the first two days. Is this normal? Is there something wrong?

I took a home pregnancy test, it came back negative.

Sometimes they start out light like that and then get heavier. They can even stop altogether, and then start up again. You didn't mention your age, but if you're young and in the first year of having periods, they can be very irregular until they get more established. I don't think there's anything wrong, but if you're concerned about it, talk to your doctor.
