i live in the U.S. and i go out a lot, so i like looking good. i like covering up with blazers and sweatshirs and i love the layered look, but its harder to wear layers of clothing during summer. how can i look good, during spring and summer but still cover up properly? P.S. i also wear a hijab

do you know of Queen Rania Al-Abdullah? she has an amazing style! I'd say, keep it classic but cute, and remember quality vs. quantity. Do you live in a big city? I know in big cities, there's certain areas where you can buy ethnic clothes that are really cool. Also, if you find clothes and pieces that you really like, buy a bunch of them in classic colors and just mix and match. Scarves look very cute too. And don't forget that an elegant looking pair of sunglasses will complete the look. :) Good luck!

i personally love hijabs, but you should get a variety of patterns and colors. make it the focus of your outfit. pair it with some cute jeans or cords or khakis. you can get thin longsleeves at places like forever21.com they are very simple but thin and cute, especially layered. if you can wear 3/4 or half sleeves(which i believe you can b/c i have a muslim friend and his sister wears 3/4 and half sleeves) they look really cute in spring and summer and they arent too hot.

hey, i'm a hindu and same problem!here's how i solved it;
add some spice by mixing in some cultural stuff;like kurtis w/jeans!indiany earrings, jewlery, and long ruffled skirts!
