Wasn't he a great Ray Charles? Usher wants to play James Brown and he has been talking with Spike Lee. But we think he is not mature enough to capture the essence of The
Godfather of Soul. Hasn't Jamie paid more dues in the acting arena? If Jamie wants it ( and we don't know if he does) wouldn't it be nice if we fans sent him a message of support?

If i had to choose between the two, it would be jamie fox. He's a much more experienced actor who would do james brown justice. Also, Usher doesn't even remotely resemble him. How would he do it?

I thought Eddie Murphey did a GREAT job of "James Brown" in Dream girls.

Eddie Murphy could probably do it since he emulated James Brown on SNL and other times in his career.

james brown would still be good to use put him on some strings he is the hardest working corpse in showbiz
