Probably A Series of Unfortunate Events, that was a good movie. Would The Lion King be considered based on a book? It's loosely based on Hamlet.

I guess I'll go with "A Series of Unfortunate Events" That was a good one, aside from the others I've seen I would most def recommend it :O)

The only one I can think of at first was ....THE WIZARD OF OZ.....but now that I DO think of it....I would say SLEEPING BEAUTY and CINDERELLA, PETER PAN, ALICE IN WONDERLAND....
I always liked LITTLE PRINCESS with Shirley Temple....Saw that SO many times when I was growing up....and the remake
of that movie was really good too....

I think that as far as learning a good thought or lesson, Because OF Winn Dixie, was wonderful. Very good story.
