get a 20 ounce soda bottle, clean/wash/dry it out. then take some yarn (for the dna or rna) and push it up into the soda bottle. screw the lid on, and glue pipe cleaners onto the cap so that they look like "legs" that are bent at an angle that resemble those in a photograph of the virus you want to "replicate".
