The hips spread during pregnancy and take at least 2 yrs to go back to normal after having a baby, exercise will help put you back into shape

The ligaments that connect your hip bones loosen up during pregnancy and allow your pelvis to expand so the baby can pass through the birth canal. After that passage, the ligaments are permanently stretched, so your bones don't go back together the way they used to do.

their hips get wider in order to give birth to the baby while their pregnant but after having a child im not sure of...

because their pelvic bones need to open so the baby can come out! which gives you wider hips! u also get wider hips when u hit puberty!

I would assume it has to do with the fact that our pelvic bones spread in preperation for delivery. Another reason could be they just gained weight and look bigger.

the pelvic bones spread to help widen the birth canal. then when the kids get older it gives them something to sit on when we hold them. haha.

God's nature. He gave us hips to support our babies. the naturally move to accomidate for room. Our breasts get bigger too and sometimes don't go back to the way they were. We go through HUGE changes.
