Universal Studios Hollywood or Disneyland Resort

For roller coaster enthusiasts... neither. Nearby Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm are for the coaster enthusiasts. Universal Hollywood and Disneyland are more family oriented parks with a TON of theming and less rides. SFMM and Knott's have little scenery but more rides.
Note: all theme parks are judged by industry leader, and best amusement park for 9 consecutive years (voted by Amusement Today), Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. They are not judged by Disneyland.

Universal Studios Hollywood is a nice park. Its very VERY cool if ur into the movie thing. Jurassic Park is a great ride among others. The Revenge of the Mummy is ok but the Orlando version of The Revenge of the Mummy is THE BEST one and on this EVERYONE agrees. Its one of my favs. Disneyland, however, has more to do and is a theme park. Universal Studios Hollywood has the motto of "being a studio before a theme park." But its a nice way to spend the day. Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are great parks...
but nothing beats Universal Orlando/Islands of Adventure!

I personally prefer Universal Studios, I like Disneyland. A more fair question might be Knott's Berry Farm or Disneyland. I'd go for Knott's.

If you LOVE big roller coasters, Universal is the place. Be sure to get hopper passes to Island of Adventure and Universal Studios. Also, stay in one of the hotels in the park to get the fastpass, lets you jump to the front of the line. If you are more of the "experience" person that likes the atmosphere, or have little kids, Disneyland is better.

You should like Disneyland Resort. It`s full of games and excitement. And it`s really fun.

Disney is the standard by which ALL theme parks are judged, beyond that its really a matter of personal preference.
