YES. GO. It is SO funny, whether you are hypnotized or not. It is actually more fun being hypnotized (I was hypnotized at a show last year.) The hypnotized people do crazy things, for example... The one I was in, it was 20 people from the audience and we sat in a row of chairs on the stage. He took about three minutes to hypnotize us and then we did a bunch of crazy things. But it was cool, because I didn't feel embarrassed at all, and I was so carefree. When he would tell us to sleep, we all layed ALL over each other and didn't care. We danced, sang, pretended to be monsters, forgot our names, etc. I recommend getting hypnotized the first year you go, just raise your hand when he picks volunteers. I say this because if you go the second year, you'll know the drill more and remember the things he tells you to do, so you won't get hypnotized as deeply. You won't be embarrassed and you won't do wacko things that are out of character. I'm usually a reserved person, but I really had a lot of fun.
Oh, yeah, and if you are watching, you can still get hypnotized if you listen to all the commands he gives the people on stage. But you really have to be willing to be hypnotized in order to be hypnotized.
By the way, I WAS hypnotized at the show I was at. DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU IT IS FAKE. My hands and eyelids felt SO heavy, I was singing when I've never sung a day in my life, I've never been so relaxed. And to think it was on a stage in front of hundreds of people. I am NOT that type of outgoing person. Gosh, I hate it when people say it's fake because I'm solid proof of it not being fake.

It may be fun, i have never been to one. However, what i do know about them is that they are not real. Hypnosis is real but in the shows, they don't actually hypnotize anyone. The people on stage just think they are and act like idiots.
It might be fun to go knowing that a bunch of people will be on stage making complete fools out of themselves for no real reason.

If the hypnotist is good, it will be hilarious. And the people who go on stage will have a good time too.
You may get hypnotized. Don't worry about it. The hypnotist will probably tell the audience what to do if that happens.
Enjoy.

the hypnotist will probably want you as one of the participants on-stage only if you meet the intial criteria, which most people don't. i imagine that you'll have a good time either way.
