I want to start saving up for college. What is a job that pays well and would be a good first job?

i babysat; pays pretty well if you find the right people

Of course, almost every girl's first job, babysitting. Back then it didn't pay very well, I hear they get a lot more now. Anything in the medical field or computer field would be an excellent place to go. Good Luck!

coffee shops are a good way to start. in most places they wil hire you even if you don't have experience. I didn't know the difference between a latte and a mocha but i still made it. find one that is localy owned, not a chain (e.g. starbucks) you will probably get paid more than the minimun plus you will get tips! I noticed that on chain stores you don't get that much money on tips and the few bucks that you get are on credit cards (which you will have to report).
