My avatar name is a pun with multiple meaning that reflected my musical lifestyle: Kagura, in Japanese it means,

'God's dance, God's joy, God's music, divine melody.

I'm an ex-orchestra mate, and I had my first instrument handling at age 14. And play the Takebu-e, the bamboo flute. In chinese it is called Dizi. What is shown on my avatar are Japan's famous musicians: "The Yoshida brothers, player of the ancient instrument Shamisen, or three flavored strings, brought from China into Japan in the 15th or 16th century. Shamisen is also my first top choice of instrument, music is such a big part in my life that can never be seperated.

Technically, I'm a wood wind player aspiring into strings, especially Shamisen.

I love Shamisen for its soulful, dynamic strumming style filled with emotion and power. It's beautiful both as an instrument and as another voice to the human soul and creativity.

85 is just the year I was born in. Plus, I also draw anime, starting age 5 till now (Like you, and your super Kawaii Avatar!).

I appreciate beautiful women, and a friend of mine said I sounded like Natalie Portman, so I thought I'd go with a pic of her for a while. I've also been a fan of hers for a long time. As for the black and white, which I use most often...I just love black and white photos :)
