Take a slow deep breath in and hold it for the count of four. Then slowly release that breath for the count of four. Continue to do so, focusing only on your breathing until you feel yourself calm down. If you practice doing this enough soon you will be able to calm down in one breath.

If its that bad, write it on paper, sometimes when your finished writing , it helps to calm you enough to think clearly. You don't want to say anything now, that you will regret later. Say a prayer, open the door and take a deep breathe of fresh air.

Remove yourself from the situation. Go somewhere quiet. Replay what happened in your mind. Think about what you want/wanted to do, then assess what the consequences would be. Then you should be able to rationalize a constructive plan.

Umm....Sometimes, it is good if u can just have a good scream.....
meditation is also good. U just sit in a quiet room and repeat a mantra like Hong for breathing in and Saw for breathing out. This can clear your mind.
Or u can always punch someone!!

Know that I'm an honest, helpful communicator and at the same time I understand that while I can't control others' behaviour, my reaction to their behaviour is within my control.

When i get really upset, i clean. Also when i am upset i like to walk or run to work off that extra energy. You have to get it out or it will give you an ulcer (believe me, i know).
