I've used one.

It's a mass-produced cardboard-and-plastic hoax and it doesn't do anything unless someone you're using it with cheats and moves the stylus. Then they swear up and down that they didn't. If you use it with two honest people, it just sits there.

It doesn't contact spirits.

I have used a ouija board more than once, but one time really stands out. My friends and I did not have a board this particular time so we made one with small squares of paper. As we asked questions, the pointer (shot glass) moved faster and faster. Eventually it was moving regardless of our having asked a question, and we became so freaked out that we had to say goodbye to whatever spirit we had riled up and quit. The main thing I can say is the always say goodbye to the spirit and and have it say goodbye back and then leave the board. I don't trust to mess with this kind of stuff anymore, but good luck.

i havent played it but according to my friends and based on this person who spoke about the game which is a part of his religion:
spirits can be contacted . they can be either bad or good and you can never choose who you are going to get. If they are bad such as murderes they stay in your house and stay there forever! even if you stop playing they wont go away. They will haugnt you. they can drive you cray to the point where you can commit suicide. my advice: never play that game
another thing:
Its safe to platy the game as long as you do it just for fun and fake moving the board. If you get too consentrated and believe all what I said, then it will happen. and once it does there i no way to turn back

I had one as a young teen. I played with it not knowing as much as I should have. We spoke to "the spirits" and asked teen type questions. Like if boys liked us and what they were doing. Nothing of any significance happened, but I wouldn't mess around with one today. I believe in the spirit world, and am humble enough to say I couldn't possibly know the dangers or innocence of dabbling in their world. I believe it is better to let them come to you as opposed to summoning a "stranger".

I used one once and I got scared. My mom caught us playing and then told us that when she was younger she had played it and things went wrong and every time they would throw it away it would go back into a closet she used to keep it. They even burned the thing and it still appeared in the closet. Then someone advised her to burn it and then put holy water on it and it never returned to the closet.

My friend and i went to a cemetery with one of those boards and my friend asked it how he was going to die, it Spelled out CAR.
I asked it when i was going to die, It spelled out 76?

Didn't want to ask anymore questions, because it moved the piece on its own and i swear to God my friend and i didn't!!

I have since counted down seconds, minutes, hours,days,months, All i got left is years I'm 28 and not ready to be 76????? NOT SH*TING YOU

It was years ago. Me and my friends played at a sleepover and I asked who I would marry and it spelled out Bob Saget! Not kidding. And no, Im not married to him! Blech :P
