Actually, I prefer Platinum...the luster, the weight, the overall look.
But for your two choices it would be gold...just think, computers these days have some gold content in them. Some people go for gold because of the look, I go for it because of its electrical conductive properties.

I used to never like silver - maybe because my ears are very sensitive and I can only wear gold earrings- Recently though my mother left me several silver rings and that's all I wear now and I notice when I look at jewelery I look at the silver or white gold selections.

Both. Are you kidding? I dont know anyone who cannot stand one or the other. Why cant there be more choices OTHER than gold and silver? Only 2 choices is already too limiting.

I think it depends on one's skin tone and perhaps and on the color of the clothing one wears. Very light skin looks good with silver tones. Darker skin tones look better in yellow gold tones. It may also be a matter of mood and self preference.

A lot of younger people tend to stick with white metals. I love the warmth of yellow and rose gold. I think it also depends on your skin tone. I'm a very olive complexion so I can pull off yellow and rose gold without it making me look too old. My sister is very pale and blonde and only wears white metals.
