how do i foctor x^2 - 1/2x +1/16 ? Can a TI-84 perform this with help of downloaded APP?

i can factor usually, but these fractions are messing with me.

(x - 1/4)(x - 1/4)

Just look at the third term and see what factors it has.
1/16 could be 1/4 * 1/4 or it could be 1/2 * 1/8.
Try those and see what works.

Answer :

(x - 1/4)(x - 1/4)

Practice with fractions and it'll become easy.
