If you are on Single- Player, then you'd have to find them. I would suggest beating normal and nightmare, then go back and kill bosses until something good drops.

If you are playing battlenet:
Find them, or trade. For most sets, you can trade for them pretty easily as well as find them in the higher difficulties; usually bosses drop them.

It all really depends on what kind of sets you want. If you want sigons, for example, they are relatively easy to find in nightmare and hell difficulty.

If you want, say, Tal Rasha's, then you'd have to trade for them because they are incredibly hard to find.

Some people don't like trading. These people will create a character, usually a sorc, to do what is called Magic Find runs. The sorc will be equiped with items that provide high magic find and then kill the bosses until something good drops.

If you are on Battlenet and are looking for a specific set, you can always msg me and ask. I probably may have one!

Uhhh.. yea, nice long rant above me.

The bottom line easiest way to get a set is to BUY it.

Yea.. head out to D2legit.com or any other of the millions of websites offering Diablo2 items.. They're like.. a dollar for set pieces. More for some of the new runeworded items.. but those aren't usually set items.

Seriously...

And you get the gear in an hour or so.

So much for spending hours in a chat-room when you can get straight into the action.

Or you can do the boring stuff from the other posts.. Me? I prefer to have fun!
