i don't see how your prediction of Hague beating Brown 'ought to nevertheless ensue' as i don't think of Hague would be Tory chief interior the subsequent GE. besides, for relaxing, my prediction: - Smith & Labour win in ninety seven - Smith & Labour win in 01 - Clarke & Tories win in 06 - Blair & Labour win in 10 My good judgment being that Smith became into greater previous formed, suited socialist Labour, as unfavorable to the third way of Blair. There would in all probability have been greater suited wing resistance to this, and an previous formed suited-wing Tory would have been sent forth to conflict the previous school left wing Labour guy. Kenneth Clarke would in positive condition the bill there. Smith would have stepped down whilst defeated in 2006, to that end heralding the tip of previous type socialist labour and ushering in New Labour with Blair in 2010 It has a tragic inevitability to it.

The late John Smith MP, leader of the Labour Party, had a heart condition and suffered a major heart attack and died while out walking in the Scottish Highlands - think on or near Ben Nevis.
He was not murdered.

I don't know about John smith, but I certainly believe that Robin Cook was murdered because he was against the invasion of Iraq and resigned over the Iraq war. If not it seems very convenient that he died when he did and removed a thorn in the governments side. It comes in the same category as Dr David Kelly whose death was very dubious but of course was subject to the usual whitewash from a government appointed Judge.

Some interesting answers, one of which was rather inventive and humorous and which at least one person didn't get. I'm an unreconstructed Capitalist but it was a well-constructed argument.
Anyway, to answer one question you asked, John Smith was not cremated. He is buried on Iona.

Doesn't sound rational to me how about citing a source.
Where are these conspiracy theories coming from. No offense but they are off the wall. He was at dinner at a restaurant in London and died of a heart attack.
