Why do men start balding in the front of their heads first?

Why do men start balding in the front of their heads first?

I know it's kind of a silly question but is there a reason for that?

They don't always, my brother, he is VERY sensitive about it, because he is 23, is losing a little bit, but it is more on the middle top of his head...I love teasing him about it.
