My computer is constantly making the most wierd sounds!!!
Sometimes it sounds like thunder, sometimes like it is burping real loud and sometimes it sounds just exactly like someone is bowling. What are these dumb sounds? It's almost like my computer is alive!!

There is most likely 2 reasons why this is happening. For your sake I hope it is the first one.

A) From the speakers
=======
If it is coming from your speakers, you have spyware on your computer. The most practical option for this is to reformatt. What happened is a spyware file got downloaded onto your computer and what it does is it connects to a server which sends your computer a random sound file. The spyware will make your computer play that file.
Solutions:
Run a spyware scan and delete the file
Reformatt (recommended)

B) Hard disk failure

If it is coming from inside your computer case, then you MUST BACK UP ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.
Your hard drive is going to crash, there is nothing you can do to stop it except save what you can. It might be the next time you boot up your computer, or it might be when you save a word document 3 days from now. It is a time bomb and you have no idea when it's going to go off but you must save all your pictures, music, etc, right NOW!
You can back up to a:
1)USB flash drive
2)Seperate hard drive
3)Burn to a CD
1 2 and 3 will have the same end results so it does not matter which one you choose.

Sometimes computers make odd sounds when the hard drive is dying. Scan for viruses and then run a diagnostic tool on your hard drive. At the very least, Right click on my computer>Manage>Disk Management>Action>Rescan Disk. This should give you some basic information on the status of your hard drive.

First of all check for viruses/spyware. Second of all some websites have ads that make noies. I know of a couple that drive me nuts.

the noisiest sounds coming from a computer are usually caused by the cpu fan or power supply fan, the dried up copper bushings have made your computer fan unable to attain its proper rpm, and its labouring to reach it, hope your computer survives long enough for you to check your answers, if so, shut it down now, and have the fan replaced.

hmmmmm.....sounds like u need a new PC!!! thunder? burping? and bowling? ur pc really need help! get a techie to look at it.
