I don't believe that I have Asperger Syndrome, but I was outcasted to a certain extent and I would often do anything to get accepted, to bo avail. I know what that is like because I was the type of child who had problems with socializing with other children and this is what I realized: Many people outcasted others because of they are afraid of what they see as different. I still have problems socializing with others. I know there are people out there who are rude and hurtful towards me and treat me like crap, but I have learned never to care what other people are thinking of me. If those people are outcasting you, they are not worth your time. That is one thing I have learned. The people who hate you are not worth your time. That is one lesson I have learned. If they have outcasted you, this is the way to handle it, don't seek them out. They havee outcasted you, not the other way around. You said that you would do anything to gain acceptance. That is part of the problem. Desperation for approval of people who outcast you brings nothing but grief. I learned not to care whether I was accepted or not.

I'm an Aspie too and got outcasted a lot while growin up. It's hard, people who do that don't know any better. Just ignore them and work on whatever you're good at. To live a good life is the best revenge.

Basically most people suck and very few ever have the courage to go against the grain. You are not the only one to experience this, I know how it feels, but do you really want to be one of those pathetic sheep. Be proud of the special person you are and make the most of the hand you were dealt, i.e. your strengths.
