most scientist thinks it's a chemical reaction (and can partially prove it) but others believe it occors naturally.

Yes, I've always believed in love at first sight.

I have always held the belief that there is a sort of "chemical" reaction when there is an immediate attraction between two people when they first set sight on one another.
There is something, some kind of unseen pre-programmed response, in the chemistry compound of both people that attracts and wants them to join in a union, similar to how magnets are attracted to each other.

The "chemical" part of it is like the accelerant in a fire, but the spark causing the fire isn't caused by the presence of a specific chemical. The proof of this is very simple. There are only a few known neurotransmitters, that play a significant role in the function of the brain, including strong feelings of love, sex, etc. We can throw in the few known pheromones. A typical woman will be exposed to dozens, or hundreds, or even thousands of men, of which she'll suddenly be stricken by a SINGLE one. How is that the presence of one of the few few chemicals have picked that one man? Other factors certainly is at play here, and it's reasonable to presume that past associations, genetic preference, conditioning, and even higher rational thought are involved in "making that subconscious selection". Once it takes off, the accelerant takes care of the rest.

I think its a bit of both, but I would not say its love at first site but more of attraction at first sight, theres been a few times every has gone through the phase of seeing a hot girl or guy and gone WOW!!! shes/hes hot, I want her/he only to talk to them later and just be bored. Now that happens is that your attractive to them in an exciting way and your body produces chemicals that makes the experince more pleasureable.
