I definitely think that it will be a close game, but UNC will win.

little question Texas will beat UNC later interior the tourney - If UNC even makes it there... The Heels are no longer what they was... merely seem at what occurred to them final twelve months while they have been meant to be incredibly good - they lost to George Mason... I recommend Mason replaced into good... yet geez... and Hansbrough's mask is going to annoy that youngster from having a good sport... i'm able to easily see it now... Oh yea... I forgot to point approximately Durant - the perfect participant in college basketball (maybe tied with Oden)... he will certainly lead his group to the mind-blowing 4 merely like Carmelo did some years decrease back... no you may quit Durant - he's a manchild!!!

Their run-n-gun offense is too much I think. Their number one goal will be to wear down Durant. Expect the Tarheels to make Durant play defense early by going to Hansbrough and Wright often. The Tarheels will also double team Durant from the strong side and as soon as they force turnovers run the floor. You can expect 30 substitutions in the first half alone while Roy Williams keeps his team fresh, which he can do with that deep bench, so that they can continuously run up and down the floor. The way they played in the ACC tournament was almost scary how easy that ran up and down the court. I don't think it helps Texas that they couldn't win the BIG10, that would have been a huge confidence boost

Texas is very capable of beating UNC, now whether they will or not is a different question. UNC is very young and would need to get passed the Marquette/MSU winner. And Texas would need to get by NM st and the USC/Arkansas winner. (i know i didn't say UNC needed to get passed Eastern Kentucky, when has a number 1 seed ever lost to a 16, i don't see it happening this year either.) Whether Texas wins or lose its going to be one hell of a game if they play, but I still have UNC winning the game.

I'm with you on this one.
Durant will be fresh off of a week off. He wore down this afternoon in the second half. Abrams and Augustin will be ready to shoot.
Their weakness? Coach Barnes. If it comes down to the last minute, he will get out coached.
I see Texas in the elite 8 losing to Georgetown (Your Eventual National Champs)

Texas COULD beat North Carolina, but I doubt it.
1. Too many losses to top ranked teams
2. Playing in the East, North Carolina will certainly have home court advantage
