Last night I dreamt that I went to my pastors family's home. I had my patient with me who I care for (she is 12) we went down to the basement with our friends- but it looked so much lighter and prettier than usual. Like they had redone it, and the walls were this pretty yellow. My patients feet were dirty from playing outside, so they said we could use the tub to wash them. I had to rinse out the tub - it had debris and a few bugs in it. Then as I was washing her feet, the water rose too high (even though it had been shallow )it went over her head and I had to pull her out-she was choking on the water.(She has been very sick this week,by the way.)
Then after I got her stable, I looked at my feet. I had 2 small leeches on me. I pulled them off. Then I realized there was a giant leech on my leg-I tried to pull it off, it was really attached, and I rember yelling- it's sucking the life out of me! Then I sat straight up in bed and woke up. Life has been so stressful the last few months.

You are stressed and feeling sucked dry. I think the home was a place you feel comfortable and relaxed, you wanted her to feel it too and maybe get a healing.
You feel she gets stable and then sick and then stable and sick, a stressful and draining cycle.
Take that vacation as soon as you can.

many things can lead to realy wierd dreams..such as eating a certain kind of food, or just watching a comercial. It is hard to know what caused this dream. But try not to think about it to much, because then it might occur again. Asyou are falling asleep think of one thing, and chances are that that it what you will dream about.

Yes, it sounds as if your job is sucking the life out of you. You definitely need a vacation!

sounds like the leaches may represent not only sucking the life out of you but a piece of you, like you are slowily dsiappearing because you are not giving yourself anytime or your personality is disappearing because you are tryign too hard to be someone you are not.
