i have to do a project on an important event that impacted the united states. i wanted to do with something that happened in the 60's and iwas leaning towards something to do with the vietnam war.

if not im open to it! im lookin for a topic and im not sure what to do!

An important event from the 60s would be the beginning of people's questioning authority. I'm not talking about hostile attacks on police per se, I refer to the general populace that began to ask that little question "why ?" when told to do something or to act a certain way. When the flower power folks came out from behind the beads and crappy trappings, they took straight jobs, but they still asked "why?". This questioning authority has changed America.

This might not be the easiest project, but it might be a good one.
