As 99% of the 100 students in the school are girls, there is only one boy in the school.

If less than 100% of the students in grade 8 are girls, then the only boy in the school is in that grade.

As 98% of the students in grade 8 are girls, then the single boy represents 2% of the class or 1/50th.

Hence, he is one out of fifty students in the grade and the remaining 49 are girls. So "C" is the correct answer.

I think its C coz yets say theres 50 students in grade 8, 98% of 50 is 49 girls
And yets say the rest theres 50 student and there are 50 girls
Therefore total 99 girls out of 100 students = 99%

A is definately not right to dont know about the others

Final answer = C

the only distinction with that's the certainty that x is a fragment 2x/3 + 5 = a million Subtract 5 from the two factors 2x/3 = -4 multiply the two factors by making use of three/2 x = -4(3/2) = -12/2 = -6 ---------------> answer IS -6 <----------------
