Some women suffer from nausea during menses, but usually when accompanied by severe pain and cramps. However, you may be particularly sensitive to the hormonal fluctuations associated with menstruation. However, if there is a possibility you could be pregnant, you may want to take a pregnancy test. You may be experiencing first trimester bleeding. OR, maybe it is just a coincidence and you just happen to have a stomach virus and your period at the same time.

It's normal to get nauseated, but the vomiting should not happen to you every month. This might be a one time thing, but if you continue to vomit the next month, tell your doctor. Also, are you experiencing cramping or pain while you are nauseated? Sometimes pain can be severe enough to cause vomiting. In any case. Tell your doctor if you vomit again.
Good luck
