I was wondering what kind of uses I can get out of a tub of petroleum other than for chapped lips? Thanks

u kan use it on ur face b4 u g2 bed and when u wake up ur face iz really soft or u can put it on juss like crisco 4 when u go 2 the beach n stuff 2 make ur legs n arms sparkle

Petroleum jelly is great for chapped lips but I also use it on my nose if it is chapped from blowing when I have a cold.
If my hands are very dry, I mix a little Vaseline with my usual hand lotion and rub it in before I go to bed at night.
Put a little on your heels when they are dry and scaly and put on a pair of cotton socks to smooth your feet.
Actually it is great for dry skin just about anywhere, especially if you put a thin coat on just after you towel off from your shower or bath. Hope this helps!

It is also used to coat bus bars and battery connections to prevent corrosion.
Technical Petrolatum is used for this so the instead of marking mine as bad, you can stop making peanut butter and petroleum jelly sandwiches.

chapped lips . rashes on babys butts that are mild . general protection of a babys bottom without a rash keeps moisture off which often leads to rash in the first place . good to keep on any types of injuries that you may be putting guaze on . good to use for when applying hair dye around your face and hair line . it will keep the dye from staining your face . good to use while you are giving a tattoo for fill in helps the process along .

In addition to all of the above--
A dab is good for grooming eyebrows/lashes.
remove chewing gum from hair
stops leather from cracking
rub into furniture scratches, rings
remove a stuck ring
use when painting as a masker
coat candles so they don't stick in the candleholder
And re the above folks who are referring to it as a lubricant, it shouldn't be used with a condom, as it makes the latex or rubber degenerate.

It is a great way to keep your feet soft. Once a week I coat my feet with Vaseline, and cover with a pair of nylon socks.
I also use it to moisturize under my eye area, as to save money instead of buying expensive eye creams.
Great for a smooth butt, too!
Don't use it sexually - it's not meant to go inside.

When my hands get very dry I later them up with vaseline and wear white linen gloves to bed overnight and I wake up with very soft hands

I prefer petroleum spirit to petroleum jelly..
Especially the petroleum spirit at Shell garages, oh my God it is nice to get high on.
Petrol station > fill container with petrol > abuse petrol

i have made lip gloss from it. first put a spoonful of it into a small container, then add a drop of food coloring (whatever color you want) then if you want you can add really fine glitter to make your lips sparkle. if you add glitter you probably have to make sure your didn't swallow any...
also if you put some on top of your eyeshadow it makes your eyes look really pretty and big.
