Solve for x [6x + 5]/3 = 3x/7 - 2 (the 2 is not part of the fraction)?

This is what I have so far. The LCD is 21
7 * 3 = 21
[6x + 5] = 11x
11x * 21 = 231
3x * 21 = 63
231/21 = 63/21 - 2
This is were I get mixed up on how to find x from here

42x - 9x = -35
33x = -35

so then you have

33x +35 = -42 subtract 35 from both sides

33x = -77 divide both sides by 33

x = -2 and 1/3 or x = -2.33333333333333...

I'm not sure where the 11x came from, but here is how you do it. Multiply every term by 21. You get
7(6x+5)=3(3x)-21(2)
42x+35=9x-42
33x=-77
x=-7/3

You take the LCD and time by the top to get

126x+105=63x-42

Then minus the 63x on both sides to get

63x+105=-42

Then minus 105 on both sides to get

63x=-147

then you divided by 63 on both sides to get x by itself

x= -2.33333 repeating or -2 (1/3)
