First find out if you are pregnant or not. If you are, your the only person that can answer this as you know how you'll feel and how you think you'll be able to cope. If you dont think you can then dont go through with it. I fell pregnant on depo too. You said you just had a baby but how old is he/she? Will you be able to afford the two? There is alot for you to think about & consider. Which ever choice you make i wish you well & please dont let other people talk you into anything you dont want because of there beliefs. There not in your situation, they dont know how you feel!

Abortion is a very personal and sensitive subject. It is the woman's choice, no matter her age. I do think you should see councling before and after at least one visit to be sure you can cope with such a difficult choice.

Most people live in the here and now and don't think of the future. How about the child that was killed yesterday because of someone's carelessness or murder.

You can say all you want about the "people out there they can't have a baby and want one, why can't you choose adoption" but there are lots of kids out in the foster system who do NOT have a family because some of these "childless" people that want a baby so bad are too selfish to adopt a child. They ONLY want a baby. I don't think it is fair for people to pass over a child that needs a home NOW because they want to be put on a waiting list for a BABY. THAT is NOT fair!

Why do you think you might be pregnant? Because your period is late or because you took a test? Depo makes you miss your periods, and if you have enough shots you dont have a period at all. But keep in mind that one shot can take up to 18 months to get out of your system if you want to get pregnant. Depo also makes alot of people gain alot of weight, and hair fall out, back pain.... I used to use it, hated it!
As for keeping your baby, if you have to ask I think that is your answer.

You should definitely go thru with the pregnancy. I've had plenty of friends who've gotten preggy while on some form of bc and their babies turned out just fine! I found this website (an M.D. addresses getting pregnant while on depo), I hope you find it helpful and reassuring!

Having the baby is your decision but I would consider a different form a birth control.

YES! YES! YES! By all means have the baby and give it all of the motherly love that you possess. See your gynecologist regularly. Do Not Smoke! Do Not Drink! Not even after you have had your baby. When it is all said and done, ask your gynecologist to cauterize your fallopian tubes!

Yes, but be more careful next time. All lives are precious - having lost a child I would encourage you to have it and love it.
