Great question. I moved from So. Cal. to the Southeast and I miss In-n-Out. When I went home last October, I spent an hour and a half wolfing down 3 double doubles. Going to Vegas in 2 weeks and I will over eat double doubles again. I am bringing my "buffet pants"

Because the family that owns it wants to keep it in the family for quality purposes. They don't want franchises all over the world, even though it would make them a lot more money. They want to be able to supervise all of their operations.

They'd never make it here? It's no different than MickeyD's really.
I mean, the buns are fresher, and the fries are just a tiny bit better, but checkers beat both of them, so there's really no way in.
