I am putting together a computer and everything is in but I have a problem. I can't install Windows XP because my bios doesn't detect my cd-rom drive. Is there anyway to fix this?

Make sure you have installed the CD-ROM drive according to your installation instructions. In particular, make sure that you have the jumper set to the right position (master, slave or autoselect). The correct setting may vary depending on the rest of your setup. If in doubt, try all 3 settings to see if any of them allow the drive to be recognized.
